Our goal at Deep Blue is to provide customers an unforgettable experience voyaging under the sea off the coast of the beautiful, tropical Cayman Islands. This unique, once-in-a-lifetime excursion will expose tourists to the underwater world, including the remarkable variety of indigenous marine life as well as extraordinarily diverse coral reef habitats.

We will ferry passengers from the George Town cruise port - one of the largest ports of call in all of the Caribbean - to our dive sight off of Seven Mile Beach. When seated in our submarine, passengers will have extraordinary views of the waters around them. A support boat will remain on the surface whenever the submarine is submerged. As part of the experience, passengers will receive a dive certificate and the option to purchase family portraits that have been taken as they boarded the submarine. Snacks and souvenirs will be available for purchase in our retail store adjacent to the main cruise ship marina.
 

With excursions lasting approximately 90 minutes, we will be able to provide up to 8 dives per day. More than 560 cruise ships carrying 1.6 million passengers have historically visited the islands each year, pre-pandemic, and post-pandemic traffic is rapidly returning to those levels. The industry projects that approximately 2% of passengers will opt to take the submarine excursion, giving us an estimated 32,000 passengers from the cruise lines alone. On top of this, the Economic and Statistics Office of the Cayman Islands records a pre-pandemic level of 380,000 visitors by air each year. With air passengers' lengthier stays when compared to the typically brief time that cruise ships stay in port, we estimate that the 2% figure for cruise ship passengers will be meaningfully higher among hotel and resort guests, with approximately 15-20,000 additional passengers per year.
